Safety is the driving force behind our company, and a crucial factor in every construction project we undertake. TPS Construction is committed to safety in everything we do; in fact, you could say that we build safety into each of our construction projects. We don’t just work safely; we design plants and facilities so that your employees can work safely, too. Comprehensive safety plans ensure that each site offers a safe working environment — to our customers’ employees, our subcontractors’ employees and our own employees. Our safety record is exemplary, and we intend to keep it that way!

We comply with safety requirements promulgated by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration). We have successfully completed MSHA Part 48 requirements for the training and retraining of miners, and have received approval to work underground as well as on the surface.

In-House Safety Management

At TPS Construction, our safety managers oversee all projects and enforce all safety practices. They are responsible for creating and maintaining an effective safety program for each of our clients, one that will help them reach optimal safety performance. Every safety program includes a health component that is designed and implemented to protect employees by limiting exposure to harmful materials.

As we strive for long-term safety, our safety managers carefully evaluate and incorporate the proper job behavior, tools and training into your safety plan. Our comprehensive safety and health programs include compliance checks, standard operating procedures, employee training and testing, and personal protective equipment.
